PHILIPPINES, MAY 7, 2024– Monkey Shoulder, the first 100% malt whisky made for mixing, will be commencing Monkey Thursday starting May 9.

As part of its ongoing mission to shake up traditions and the status quo, Monkey Shoulder has partnered with hip bars within the metro’s night-out capital, Poblacion, to offer a just-as-fun alternative and to save partygoers from the feeling of being stuck and far away from the summer parties in beaches outside Metro Manila.

Every Monkey Thursday will carry a theme or two, with its first takeover of Apothecary, Poblacion promising to be an exciting sign of things to come and a great showing of how the brand will #MakeItMonkey in the summer of 2024.

The perfect mix also exists outside of a cocktail glass, and Monkey Shoulder knows this all too well. Awaiting guests are varied themed nights at the whisky brand’s partner bar outlets, highlighting different eras and vibes made to make memories for keeps.

THEME 1: Velocity of Spirit – Patrons can revel in a high-octane evening where the zest of racing meets the leisure of sipping. Engage your senses, embrace the rush, and indulge in the swift swirl of Monkey Shoulder’s finest, all in one electrifying event.

THEME 2: Nostalgia-infused evenings – Attendees are swept into yesteryear by the sounds of vinyl records crackling over the speakers.

THEME 3: Urban Elixir – a dynamic fusion of urban culture and artisanal craftsmanship, celebrating the spirited essence of the city streets

Monkey Shoulder’s Monkey Thursday runs throughout May (9, 16, 23, and 30), with one last hurrah for its current leg on June 6.

Each Monkey Thursday features the Monkey Menu, where you can order from a selection of Monkey Shoulder cocktails. Each cocktail gets you a token to access Monkey Thursday’s special feature: Silent Disco, the Arcade Game, or the Claw Machine.

With a purchase of an entire bottle of Monkey Shoulder, you can also get a Monkey Shoulder pourer and glass bands.
