The Mind Museum Celebrates Anniversary with Fun After Hours Science and Exploration!

Taguig City, Philippines – The Mind Museum is turning 13! Since it opened in March 2012, science has come alive as the museum welcomed curious minds, young and young at heart, from all walks of life to a fun learning journey exploring our hands-on exhibits and programs. It has welcomed over 2.5 million guests, but it has stayed fresh, thanks to the growing support from the public! Among the crowd favorites are Stan, our resident t.rex fossil, Static Ball, which lets you experience the power of static electricity, Butanding, our life-size whale shark, Tunnel Craft at the Universe Gallery, Immersive Sea of Digital Art (ISDA) where you can watch your art come to life on screen, Mind Moving Studios, demos and experiments by our resident scientists and so much more!

To mark this milestone, a weekend of curiosity-driven experiences will happen on March 14-16, 2025. With the theme “After Hours,” this celebration promises a unique blend of science, fun, social engagement, and discovery, including a special Pi Day celebration, an extended museum experience, and interactive birthday games, all happening at night. Join us for an unforgettable weekend of learning and fun!

After Hours: Pi Day & MindPub – March 14

At the Canopy Plaza, The Mind Museum kicks off the celebration on March 14, Pi Day, with a series of fun and engaging activities centered around the magical number Pi:

  • MindPub Quiz Night: Pi in Pop Culture (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM) – Test your knowledge on the number Pi as it appears in music, art, films, and science. (Program fee: P300, inclusive of food and drinks in partnership with Dot Coffee, Chingu Cafe, and Locally, plus free access to Mind Rover)

After Hours: Arcademia – March 15

The Mind Museum is extending its hours for one night! Experience a nighttime exploration at the museum from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with special birthday games inside the 5 Galleries, priced at regular museum rates.

Supporting Science Engagement Across the Philippine Islands!

To make it even more special, we will offer an exclusive opportunity on March 14 to 16 for this science-on-wheels to be accessible to the public just by donating at least P100 to the museum.

Join us as we celebrate 13 years of igniting curiosity and inspiring minds! For more details, visit www.themindmuseum.org or follow @themindmuseum on social media.
