These stories and more came to life at Lactacyd’s unveiling of the Museum of Speaking Skin at Shangri-La Plaza Mall, which is open to the public until September 28.

The museum reimagined the traditional product launch into an immersive journey that highlighted the brand’s bold new chapter, featuring its new look, improved formulation, and latest product line. These innovations reinforced Lactacyd’s heritage as a trusted companion—from a girl’s first feminine wash, to a mother’s choice of baby wash, and now to full-body cleansing for the whole family.

Galleries that tell stories

These milestones were showcased through thoughtfully curated rooms within a single museum. Guests navigated creative product displays, explored installations that highlighted the science behind skin and Lactacyd’s innovations, and posed for photos in front of Instagram-worthy backdrops.

Filipina artists added another layer to the experience, selected for how they translated personal stories into shared themes of strength, beauty, and confidence. Each brought a unique perspective, coming together to show skin not just as a surface, but as a canvas shaped by life’s experiences.

Featured artists included Michelle Alde, whose Of Poise and Power explores the quiet strength of femininity; Marga Zablan-Ventinilla, who reflects on resilience in Confidence; Ana Luciano Fernandez, with Skin At Play capturing a toddler’s carefree joy; and Kizzel Mina, whose Eternal Bloom honors the beauty and confidence of women over 50. Also contributing were Arianna Bongato, Bea Fernandez, Leahrly Curitana, Janet Arboleda-Ballecer, Clarisse Alfonso, Bea Pascubillio, Nonie Manuel, Sca Miranda, and Fern Abaloda. Each brought a unique vision to this celebration of skin’s many stories.

The new Lactacyd Body Wash

A key highlight during the opening of the Museum of Speaking Skin was the unveiling of the Lactacyd Body Wash collection, marking the brand’s entry into the broader skincare category.

The new Lactacyd Body Wash range features the brand’s improved formulation, LACTOBIOME+™, which is also present across its feminine and baby care lines.

LACTOBIOME+™ is a unique combination of Natural Lactoserum and Organic Lactic Acid.
