In line with the celebration, Clara Olé twirled its way into a recent tasting event featuring five inventive pasta-and-drink pairings curated by celebrity chef and longtime collaborator, Wado Siman. Hosted at Brutal by Wadoughs, the menu highlighted how Clara Olé’s wide range of pasta sauces and products can easily elevate familiar recipes into gourmet creations.

Perfect pairings for World Pasta Month

The tasting kicks off with Majaroni Salad, a zesty spin on the classic Filipino party staple, made richer with Clara Olé Bechamel Sauce. A Peach Mango Butterfly Pea, sweet and tart with Clara Olé’s Peach Mango Spread, cuts through the creaminess with a refreshing fizz.

Next up are Viet Kung Pao Canape, stuffed not with vermicelli but angel hair pasta tossed in Clara Olé Kung Pao Pasta Sauce. Paired with a fruity Cranberry Sangria, the combo bursts with freshness.

The feast continues with Jajangmyeon Grilled Cheese, rich with gooey cheese and the deep flavors of Clara Olé Pasta Negra Sauce. Each bite is best enjoyed with the bright and aromatic Apple Calamansi Ale. 

Then comes Bagnet Penne Kare-Kare, a playful reimagining of the beloved stew. Think spinach and edamame, parmesan-peanut streusel, crispy bagnet, and bagoong reborn into a tuille—all tied together with Clara Olé Crab Flavor pasta sauce. A hearty dish like this pairs perfectly with a classic Samalamig Cooler.

Finally, dessert is served, golden Bowtie Churros made with San Remo Bowties and dusted with McCormick Cinnamon Sugar, paired with Tastesetters Caramel Sauce and Cream Cheese. Hot Cho-CO on the menu serves as both the dip for the bowtie churros and a hot chocolate drink.
