Families looking for a meaningful and creative day out can now explore Playtales: Reimagining Tomorrows, a new interactive exhibition from The Mind Museum and NutriAsia that invites children to imagine the future through play.
Now open at The Mind Museum in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, the immersive exhibit transforms familiar aspects of everyday life into engaging, hands-on experiences designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and collaboration among young learners.

At the heart of Playtales is a simple but powerful idea: the future is not something that simply happens—it is something people create together. Through a series of interactive environments, children are encouraged to explore how communities, nature, and innovation can work hand in hand to build a better tomorrow.

Designed primarily for children aged 5 to 10 years old, the exhibition features imaginative zones inspired by everyday Filipino experiences. One of its highlights is the Community Garden and Kitchen, where children can harvest vegetables, plant crops, prepare food, and even role-play as vendors. Inspired by the values of sharing and community, the space reimagines familiar activities in a playful and educational setting.
Another attraction is the Eco-Essentials zone, a futuristic take on the traditional Filipino sari-sari store. Built using recycled materials and bamboo-inspired elements, the area introduces children to sustainability through familiar household items and interactive displays that make environmental awareness both accessible and fun.
Visitors can also explore Mind S-Cool, the physical extension of The Mind Museum’s digital learning platform. The space combines storytelling, reading corners, shadow play, and hands-on exhibits that encourage imagination while introducing concepts related to biodiversity and the natural world.
The journey continues with the Music Tower, a bamboo-inspired installation showcasing traditional musical instruments from different parts of the Philippines. Here, children can experiment with sounds and rhythms while gaining appreciation for the country’s rich cultural heritage. Nearby, the Fishing Area highlights the important relationship between people and water, helping young visitors better understand how nature shapes everyday life.
What makes Playtales unique is its distinctly Filipino perspective. Rather than imagining the future through distant concepts, the exhibition draws inspiration from local traditions, communities, and everyday experiences, making big ideas easier for children to understand and relate to.
More than just an exhibit, Playtales offers families an opportunity to learn, create, and imagine together. Through interactive storytelling and immersive play, children are encouraged to see themselves as active participants in shaping the future—one idea, one story, and one playful discovery at a time.
Playtales: Reimagining Tomorrows is now open at The Mind Museum, which operates Tuesdays to Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The exhibition runs for a limited time and is open to families, educators, and young explorers looking for a fun and meaningful learning experience.
