What happens when six of today’s most urgent global problems live side by side? This is the central question posed by Mind S-Cool TV as it returns for its seventh season on September 28, 10:00 a.m., on Cignal TV’s ONE PH (Channel 1), with simultaneous streaming on the Mind S-Cool YouTube channel.
This season introduces viewers to Barangay Komplikado, a neighborhood that mirrors the complex issues faced by the world today. Here, six Very Important Problems—or VIPs—come alive as characters:
- Klima, representing the climate crisis
- Sari, reflecting the loss of biodiversity
- Susi, pushing for a deeper understanding of sustainability
- Unos, reminding us of the increasing intensity of disasters
- Hilom, guiding recovery and resilience
- Bukas, embodying our uncertain collective future
Each character insists on urgency, leaving the residents of Barangay Komplikado overwhelmed by competing priorities.
To bring clarity, Manong G, the program’s guardian of knowledge, introduces the Questers—Mikee, Pecier, Mario, and Megan—who take on challenges designed by each VIP. Through these quests, viewers will see how climate, biodiversity, sustainability, disaster response, and resilience are interconnected and cannot be solved in isolation.
The season culminates in a final mission with Bukas, where the Questers must draw from lessons learned in previous episodes to highlight the values needed to secure the future.
