Last August 13, Adonis Production and Chyvents Group proudly staged the return of D’ Intervention, one of the country’s biggest and boldest Drag Race Philippines viewing parties, at the Matrix Events Venue, Quezon City.
This year’s D’ Intervention transformed into a powerful celebration of queer pride and cultural representation as Asian Drag Queens took center stage in Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale. The event stood as a proud tribute to local drag excellence, spotlighting Adonis Productions’ very own queens Brigiding and Viñas Deluxe as they raised the Philippine flag alongside fellow Asian queens from around the world.
The cast featured Filipino queens Arizona Brandy, Bernie, and Khianna, joined by

- Kitty Space (Vietnamese-French, Drag Race France Season 2)
- Madame Yoko (Vietnamese-Luxembourgish, Drag Race Belgium Season 2)

- Suki Doll (French-Canadian, Drag Race Canada Season 2)
- Sum Ting Wong (Chinese-Vietnamese, Drag Race UK Season 1)

Asian Drag Excellence, Front and Center
Slaysian Royale marked a herstoric milestone as the first season in the global RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise to feature an all-Asian cast. Beyond the competition, it was a cultural statement by celebrating Asian drag artistry, identity, and excellence for an international audience.
Even with this groundbreaking visibility, the fight for accessible, affirming, and safe queer spaces continues, especially for many Filipino LGBTQIA+ individuals seeking communities where they can feel truly seen, heard, and celebrated.
More than a Viewing Party, but a Movement
On premiere night, the stage belonged not just to the queens, but to every queer Filipino daring to be visible. #DIntervention2025 was more than a watch party, but it was history in the making, a reclaiming of space, and a powerful amplification of pride.
The evening brought unforgettable performances from Brigiding, Viñas Deluxe, and Ivory Glaze. Also joining the celebration were this season’s judges Precious Paula Nicole, Captivating Katkat, and Maxie Andreison, winners of Drag Race Philippines Season 1, 2, and 3.
The night was a vivid display of presence, pride, and Asian power, with the crowd raising their flags higher than ever in solidarity with the queens leading the charge on Slaysian Royale.
Succeeding D’ Intervention viewing parties will take place at Rampa Drag Club, Quezon City.
